Thank you @marlboroughcollegeart and now re-posting, with permission, to share this little pic of me drawing one of our A level art students, and scroll for the finished sketch.
Was in the print room working on etchings until late this evening 😅 feeling so tired and achey now but also hugely virtuous! 😊 here’s my etching of Katie - video to come with the process ... #printmaking #etching #printingpress #marlboroughcollege @marlboroughcollegeart
Was just sent this beautiful pen drawing with watercolour of Hydra island in 1779 by Thomas Hope. Look at all those flat roofs! Wonderful delicate line, delicacy of the sepia watercolour too 😍 reminded me when I sent my eyes half crazy drawing from above the harbour for my own Port design - One gets so lost… 🙈 #hydra #hydraisland #isleofhydra #hydragreece #pendrawing #sepiawatercolour #thomashope #paintingofhydra
Working up sketches of staff and pupils I did from life last term into oil this, sadly empty, new one. Here’s our school lighting graduate assistant in a resplendent scarf.
And thinking back to my favourite Puplet Reindeer Piglet at Christmas 😍 #spanielsofinstagram #reindeerready
🧿 Here is a quilted wall-hanging I’ve been working on during my isolation hours at home. It measures about 1 x 1.5m.
